V3 Vindhya Victim Verdict is an upcoming Tamil movie directed by Amudhavanan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Esther Anil and Paavana Gowda are the lead cast of the movie.
In the upcoming film titled V3, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will play the lead role. The film is directed by Amudhavanan and focuses on the investigation of gang rape and murder. “V3 represents the Vindhya Victim Verdict. It’s a fight for rights and against injustice, and it’s about obtaining political justice through the same system that initially fails due to pressure from the elected representatives and the people,” explains the director, revealing that he based the story on three crimes that occurred in Hyderabad, Uttar Pradesh, and Kashmir. In addition to providing a glimpse into the procedures followed during such investigations, the film’s climax aims to offer a solution to sex abuse, he adds.
The narrative will unfold in three eras: the past, the present, and the future. In these sections, the character of Varalaxmi will be tasked with a variety of duties. In the present, she portrays an IAS officer who has been punished by being assigned to head the printing and stationery department. In the past, she will be portrayed as a collector, and in the future, she will be a human rights official,” he explains.
The director reveals that he initially told Sai Pallavi the story. Since there was a delay on the part of the actress, he praises Varalaxmi, who agreed to join the cast immediately and signed the contract without receiving an advance. Pavana Gowda, a Kannada actress, portrays Vindhya, as the victim. Esther Anil of Papanasam portrays her sister, Aadukamal Naren plays their father, and Visaaranai’s screenwriter Chandrakumar plays a pivotal role.
