Saloon is the upcoming Tamil comedy entertainer movie directed by Muthukumaran, known for his previous work on comedic films such as Vemal’s Kanni Raasi and Dharma Prabhu, and Shiva, Nayan Karishma, and Yogi Babu are the lead cast in the movie. Saloon will mark the first time in Shiva’s career that he will play dual roles.
According to the director, this one will also be a fantasy comedy, just like his first film, which starred Yogi Babu. “The story’s events take place in two different periods: before India became independent and in the 1980s. Both a grandfather and a grandson, Shiva, will be seen in both of these guises in the upcoming film. The behaviors of the grandfather, who worked as a barber in British India, impacted the lives of his family members, including the grandson, who followed in his grandfather’s footsteps and became a barber. The plot revolves around how the second character learns the truth about his grandfather, according to Muthukumaran.
Yogi Babu will be seen performing the role of the grandson’s friend in the movie. The character of Shiva’s love interest is played by Nayan Karishma, who previously appeared in the Telugu web series Hello World. Sam CS is composing the original score for this movie.
