Aditi Shankar (Born 19 June 1993, Tamil: அதிதி சங்கர்) is an Indian actress and model who stars primarily in Tamil films. She was the daughter of Tamil Director Shankar. She made her debut in Tamil cinema in Karthi’s Viruman Movie.
Aditi made her debut as a playback vocalist with the song “Romeo and Juliet” from the Varun Tej-starring Telugu film Ghani, which earned excellent reviews from reviewers. In India alone, the music video and song were ranked number one for an entire month. She also performed the song Madura Veeran in her 2022 debut film.
In 2021, she was approached by movie director M. Muthaiah, who offered Aditi the lead part in the masala film Viruman as the film’s leading lady. The release date was August 12, 2022. The Outlook India authored, “Karthi-Aditi Shankar Captivate You With an Entertaining Family Film.” The Hindu commented, “Aditi Shankar is unquestionably an improvement over Muthaiya’s earlier flicks.” The Times of India published: “Consider the beginning scenes with the protagonist, Thaenu (Aditi Shankar, making a confident debut). Before the premiere of her debut film Viruman in 2022.
